Chapter One: New Neighbours

One day a beautiful young lady and a teenage girl move into Tokyo, Japan. Their names are: Kaleigh Ann Nicole Serenity and Jessika Misha Harmony Serenity.

Jessika: We need nicknames sissy so nobody will figure out that you’re really Queen Serenity.

Kaleigh: Yeah you’re absolutely right.

Jessika: I’ll go by Jessi and you can go by Leah.

Kaleigh: I like those names Jessika.

All of a sudden the doorbell rings.

Jessika: I’ll get it Leah.

Kaleigh smiles at her sister.

Jessika walks over and opens the door.

A cute little girl and a handsome young man are standing on the side of the door.

Young Man: Hi, my name is Tristan Lee Nathan Serenity and this is my daughter Seraphina Maria Anastasia Serenity.

Jessika: I’m Jessi.

Kaleigh: Hi, my name is Leah.

Tristan: We came to welcome you to the neighbourhood Jessi and Leah.

Jessi: Thanks Tristan.

Seraphina: How are old are you? *looking at Leah and Jessi*

Leah: I’m 33 years old and Jessi is 15 years old.

Tristan: Well I’m 29 years old and Seraphina is 10 in 2 months.

Seraphina: I just let you know that I don’t like my real name and prefer to be called Serena.

Leah: What do have against your real name?

Serena: Oh nothing really it’s just the people have a hard time saying Seraphina.

Leah: Oh I understand now.

Tristan: Do you like it here Jessi & Leah?

Jessi: I like it here but I’m not sure about my sister.

Serena looks at her father.

Serena: Can we go home now daddy?

Tristan: What is your hurry Serena?

Serena: I want to go home and phone my friends.

Leah: What are you friend’s names?

Serena: My friend’s names are: Setsuna Meioh, Amara Tenou, Michelle Kaioh, Molly Baker, Mikeala Mizuno, Letitia Kino, Wilhelmina Aino, Rayleen Hino, Darien Shields, Lizzy Foreman, Andrew Foreman, Vanessa Marshall, Keiko Larson, Nani Anderson, and Melvin Gurio.

Leah’s eyes widen.

Leah: That’s a lot of friends.

Serena: Yeah I know Leah.

Tristan & Serena walk back over to their house.

Serena picks up the receiver and dials Mikeala Mizuno’s number.

Mikeala: Hi this is Ami Mizuno.

Serena: Hi Ami it's Serena.

Ami: Hi, Princess Seraphina.

Serena: Are you still coming to my sleepover tonight?

Ami: Yeah I’m still coming Serena.

Serena: Can you phone the other sailor scouts to remind them about my sleepover?

Ami: Sure I can do that Serena.

Serena & Ami hang up on each other.

Tristan: Is Ami still coming to your sleepover?

Serena: How did you know that I was talking to Ami?

Tristan: I heard you say “Hi Ami its Serena”.

Serena: Oh okay daddy.

Tristan: Are you going to answer my question already Serena?

Serena: Yes, Ami is still coming and she is phoning the other sailor scouts to remind them about my sleepover.

Tristan: Well I’m going to the kitchen to cook dinner for us.

Serena: What are you going to cook daddy?

Tristan: I was thinking about cooking some Kraft Dinner.

Serena: Mm…that’s sounds good daddy.

Tristan walks out the kitchen to cook a box of Kraft Dinner for Serena and him.

All of a sudden the doorbell rings.

Tristan: Can you get that Serena? *shouts from the kitchen*

Serena walks over and opens the door to find Leah on the other side of it.

Leah: Hi, Serena.

Serena: Hiya Leah.

Leah: Where is your father?

Serena: My father is in the kitchen cooking Kraft Dinner.

Leah: “Tristan cooking now that’s a miracle because my husband never cooks”. *thinks to herself*

Tristan walks into the hallway where Leah and Serena are talking.

Tristan: Hi Leah.

Leah: Hiya Tristan.

Leah: Did you get that Kraft Dinner cooked?

Tristan: Serena you told her what I was doing.

Serena: No, Leah asked where you were so I told her.

Tristan: Oh sorry Serena.

Serena: It’s okay daddy.

Leah: Did you phone your friends Serena?

Serena: I phoned Mikeala Mizuno and she is phoning my other friends to remind them about my sleepover tonight.

Leah: Oh you’re having a sleepover.

Serena: Yeah I am Leah.

Leah: Oh yeah I completely forgot the reason why I came over here in the first place.

Tristan: What was the reason you came over here for?

Leah: I came over to see if you had any sugar.

Tristan: What do you want sugar for?

Leah: I’m making my famous sugar cookies.

Tristan: I’ll let you borrow the sugar on two conditions Leah.

Leah: What are those conditions Tristan?

Tristan: You bring over some sugar cookies when they’re done and that you help me with Serena’s sleepover because it won’t be easy looking after a bunch of pre-teens all alone.

Leah: Sure I’ll bring over some cookies when they’re done and I will also help you out with Serena’s sleepover.

Tristan: Thanks a lot Leah.

Leah walks back to her house.
